Cars in Germany's Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Officers mentioned they were alerted by a man who noticed a automobile in Hanau covered with red-colored fluid

Roughly 50 vehicles have been marked with what appears to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postboxes were marked, occasionally with swastikas, they reported in a official communication.

Police report they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a man observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish fluid.

The liquid had been placed in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Officers then found multiple other marked automobiles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under laws outlawing the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Officials report early analysis indicate the fluid was most likely blood from a person.

"Currently there is no clue as to its source; authorities are currently not cognizant of any harm in connection with the incident," they commented.

City officials announced they were trying "to solve the mystery" and have requested to the community for details.

An important official commented the incident left him without words and required to be resolved promptly.

"This event affects the very heart of Hanau and revives the wounds of the right-wing violent incident in 2020," he wrote on social media, referring to the murder of nine individuals by a assailant targeting residents of foreign heritage in five years prior.
